Child Education and Bible Translation
Journey Global Missions is committed to transforming communities by investing in education and spiritual development for children. Through strategic partnership and financial support, our network partners actively engage in education initiative in both Indonesia and Haiti, where our efforts offer literacy, language development, and vital support to thousands of students.
Indonesia: Empowering Generations Through Literacy
In Kupang, West Timor, Journey Global Missions supports the Unit Bahasa dan Budaya (UBB) Language and Culture Unit. UBB Collaborates with local churches and is staffed by a team that includes teachers, a Linguistics Professor, an Anthropologist, and a Literacy Education Specialist. Together, they support translation and literacy projects across 30 Christian schools in the West Timor region. These programs not only enhance reading and comprehension but also strengthen cultural identity and spiritual growth through a biblically integrate curriculum.
Haiti: Providing Hope Through Rehoboth Ministries
In Haiti, we partner with Rehoboth Ministries, which operates three Christian schools and a Bible Institute. Each school day, over 1,200 children receive a quality education along with a nutritious meal – often the only substantial meal they have that day. These schools serve as beacons of hope in their communities, nurturing both the minds and souls of Haiti’s next generation.
Journey Global Missions is honored to serve alongside dedicated educators, churches, and ministries that believe in the power of the Gospel and transformative impact of education. Together, we are raising up future leaders – equipped not only with knowledge but also with faith and purpose.
Journey Global Missions
Journey Global Missions was inspired by Paul’s missionary journeys to Asia Minor and Europe which played a crucial role in the formation and development of the First Century Church. Today Journey Global Missions continues to embrace the biblical fundamentals of the early Church by assisting and working with the local Church and those sent and supported by the local Church. Paul’s journey, his inspired teachings and instruction which started in the local Church at Antioch were consistent with Matthew 28: 19-20 when Jesus said: “Go, therefore, and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to follow all that I commanded you;”
